As a member of the YMCA of Muncie, you have access to the Muncie Central High School Fieldhouse & Pool, Northwest and Yorktown facilities. For your convenience, we offer a variety of membership categories with two methods of payment, bank draft or annual payment.
You’ll enjoy the many benefits of membership including priority registration for our wide assortment of programs, free group exercise classes and Wellness Center orientations, YMCA360, and 24/7 Access. Program descriptions, schedules, and fees are available for our Youth, Adult and Senior Programs. Group Exercise Schedules are posted monthly. We offer Child Watch and Zone for your younger children while you work out.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
We’ve streamlined our financial assistance process to better serve our community. You are prequalified for 50% assistance if you currently receive any of the following:
- TANF
- Medicaid
- HIP
- CHIP
- SS Disability
- SNAP
Simply present proof of benefits when you join.
If you don’t receive the government benefits above OR if they would like to apply for a higher level of assistance, you must go through the regular process of submitting proof of income along with the form to the membership director for approval. Download the form by clicking the link below.

Offenders Against Children
At the YMCA, we consider it of great importance to provide a safe environment for our members, program participants and guests. For this reason, the YMCA uses its best efforts to exclude “offenders against children” or “sexually violent predators” as defined under Indiana law, from YMCA membership, program participation, facility access, volunteer opportunities or employment opportunities.
Summer Memberships
In addition to the use of all of our YMCA of Muncie locations, members have access to regular group exercise classes, Tuhey Pool, and reduced rates on programs.
