I Might Have Prediabetes

Of the 86 million Americans with prediabetes, only about 9 million are aware of it. Prediabetes occurs when a person’s blood sugar is higher than normal but not high enough to be diagnosed as diabetes. Other terms for prediabetes include “borderline diabetes” and “impaired blood glucose.” Risk factors include family history, age, weight, hypertension (high blood pressure), and low physical activity levels. Prediabetes means that you are at high risk for developing type 2 diabetes. It also means you have the opportunity to make lifestyle changes, including healthier eating habits and increased physical which result in modest weight loss to prevent or delay the onset of the disease.

Currently there is NO CURE for diabetes, but prediabetes can be reversed!
