Junior Tennis – Tots (ages 4-6) – Level 1
This is a great fun class that teaches athletic skills. The class helps develop hand/eye coordination and learning the basics of tennis.
Junior Tennis – Rookies (ages 6-8) – Level 2
These students are beginner players. This class focuses on helping further develop the student’s athletic skills and adding basics of tennis, i.e. groundstrokes, serve, rules of play, and keeping score.
Junior Tennis – Future Stars (ages 7-10) – Level 3
These students may have some limited experience and are still working on getting the ball in play. At this stage, they are starting to play some “real” tennis on a modified court.
Junior Tennis – Jr. High School Novice (ages 11-14)
This class is for kids in Junior High School who are just starting to play tennis or have very limited experience in the past.
Junior Tennis – High School Novice (ages 14-18)
This class is for students in High School who are just starting to play tennis or have very limited experience in the past.
Junior Tennis – Challengers (ages 9-12)
These students have basic strokes, know how to keep score, and have basic court positioning in singles and doubles. They can sustain a rally with someone of the same skill level.
Junior Tennis – Challengers Plus (ages 12-18)
These students must have taken the Challengers class or have pro approval to be in the class. These players are learning to judge where the ball is going and are fairly consistent when hitting medium paced shots. These players have dependable strokes including directional control and depth. These players have a strong work ethic and are on a fitness program of their own to build strength and conditioning.
