Karate Do – Youth Beginner

Build confidence through belt progressive achievements in an environment conducive to: developing positive relationships, fostering self-discipline and building self-confidence and self-respect.

Tae Kwon Do at the Northwest YMCA is a combination of modern sport Tae Kwon Do and the traditional martial art. Tae Kwon Do is committed to addressing exercise, drills, safety tips and a realistic approach to self-defense through a belt progressive program. In this program, students develop their strength level, stamina, flexibility, coordination and balance. Although it offers complete body exercise, Tae Kwon Do provides students with the opportunity to learn discipline and focus while gaining confidence and a sense of accomplishment. Students also develop patience, humility, perseverance and respect.



Session Dates

Monthly sessions run January through December.
