Fitness Class for Kids
Getting kids involved in exercise and building interest at an early age can have long term benefits for their health. This program will enhance their knowledge of safe and effective movement patterns to prevent risk of injury.
During this class, kids will have the opportunity to do body weight activities, relay races, obstacle courses, and much more. They will become familiar with structured physical activity and have fun while doing it!
They will also have the opportunity to live out the Y values of honesty, caring, respect and responsibility.
This class is open to those with or without memberships at the Y.
When: July 9 – Aug 1, Tue & Thu 11:15am – 12:15pm
Where: Downtown YMCA (meet in the lobby)
Cost: $2 per class, paid per visit
Ages: 6 – 12
