The country’s fasting growing sport! A combination of tennis and ping pong played with a paddle on modified tennis courts. Although the sport has become more competitive over the years, most enjoy the social aspects of the game and the way it helps them be active and healthy. The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn.

When:

Mon: Drop-in play for all levels 11am – 1pm
Tues & Thurs : Drop-in play for all levels 10am - 12pm
Fri: Drop-in play for all levels 10am – 12pm

Saturday Winter Open Pickleball

Join us for 7 weeks of Saturday Open Pickleball throughout November and December! Players of all skill levels are welcome to enjoy casual games, meet new people, and get some court time in a fun, welcoming environment.

Different times for November 28th and December 5th. Times will be announced at a later date.

Join us for Discover and Dink!

Discover the fun and fast-paced game of pickleball with our Beginner Pickleball Program at the YMCA! Perfect for new players, this program covers the basics, including rules, scoring, paddle techniques, and game strategy in a friendly, welcoming environment. Our experienced instructors will guide you through drills and practice games to build confidence and skill.

No equipment? No problem! We provide everything you need! Stay active, meet new friends, and enjoy this exciting sport. Join us at the Y and get in the game!

Pickleball Equipment Rental

Currently you can rent pickleball equipment at our Muncie and Yorktown locations (indoor for Muncie and outdoor for Yorktown).

How it works:

Individuals can check out the equipment from front desk during all operational hours. All individuals playing must check-in inside the Y. One individual player must sign the equipment usage log to ensure proper check out and return of equipment..
