In-person Group Exercise classes are back! Virtual Classes will continue to be available. You will be able to join live group ex classes from the comfort of your home. You also have the option of working out in person with us!
In person group exercise classes
Join us for in person group exercise classes! In order to participate, you must reserve a spot. The class sizes will be limited to allow following social distancing protocols.
- You are able to reserve your spot up to 7 days in advance.
- Childwatch is also available by appointment only at the Northwest YMCA.
- If you need childwatch for a class, please register 48 hours in advance.
- When registering, you must use your name as it is in our Membership System. Call the front desk if you have any questions

Most of our in-person group exercise classes will be streamed via zoom. If you would prefer to stay in your home for your workout, join us for some online classes!

The Muncie Y Fit app has a tile that offers a daily workout for you! Each workout will be assigned to you every day by professional personal trainers and will coincide with videos. This is a member exclusive feature as well. *Note: if you already have the app, you will need to delete it and re-download for the new tile to work!

Cycling classes use stationary cycling bikes. Cycling classes focus on a cardiovascular workout that will challenge you at different resistance and intensity levels as you cycle to upbeat music.

Mind & Body classes are focused on flexibility, balance, stability, and core. These classes will utilize one’s own body weight and incorporate mindful exercise.
