Team Benni

One month ago Corey and Brittani Sizelove found out that their two-year-old daughter, Benni, had been diagnosed with leukemia. Benni James Sizelove, affectionately called “Benni Bug”, went to her forever home with Jesus on Friday, April 1, following a short, but courageous battle. Her family is comforted knowing she is wrapped in the arms of Jesus and suffering no more.

Benni Bug was born July 18, 2019 to parents Corey and Brittani Sizelove. Benni will always be remembered for her strong and independent personality, obsession with babies, and addiction to her pacifiers. Some of Benni’s favorite activities were to watch YouTube kids, ride on the golf cart with grandma, and swing. While Benni’s time on earth was short, it was filled with love and joy.

Benni’s memory will always be cherished by her parents (Corey and Brittani Sizelove), big sister (Bryar Sizelove), grandparents (Randy and Renee Sizelove; Becky Herniak), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandfather (Tim Herniak) and aunt (Courtney Sizelove).

Thank you for your generosity.

Mitchell Early Childhood and Family Center will also be hosting a blood drive in support of Benni and others who need blood. Blood is the most precious gift that anyone can give to another person – the gift of life. A decision to donate your blood can save a life, or even several if your blood is separated into its components – red cells, platelets and plasma – which can be used individually for patients with specific conditions.
If you can, sign up for a spot at our blood drive in support of Benni on Friday, May 6th from 11am-5pm.
